Enable Ireland clients and staff gathered at the adult services centre in Little Island for an end of term summer BBQ. The event was attended by approximately 45 clients of the facility, which provides, training, job coaching and therapies daily. Cork’s new Lord Mayor Councillor Des Cahill received a warm welcome from all in attendance. The service users performed their own unique haka in their own unique style. Speaking at the BBQ, Director of Services for Cork and Kerry, Terry Datson said “We were all thrilled to meet Cork's new Lord Mayor. It was really smashing seeing Des in his new position as Lord Mayor of Cork . We wish him well for the duration of his office”.
